Daisy and Habit
I came across this interesting story about emotional eating and how it can start from childhood and continue into adulthood. It really highlights the struggles that women can face when they feel overwhelmed. I thought it was a great way to visualise the whole process.
Daisy is a girl, and in all acts she is followed by a green-purple figure from behind. The figure is the eating Habit and the name of the figure is Habit. The more Daisy satisfies Habit, the bigger Habit looks. Every time she wants something, she hits Daisy’s head with her finger as a reminder.
In her adult life, Daisy receives a stimulus from a subway poster that forces her to rethink and remake what kind of food she consumes and under what conditions she consumes it. From there on, Daisy begins to change her diet lifestyle. At the same time, Habit starts to get smaller and smaller.
